Concussion Recovery

Mild TBI better known as concussion effects individuals of any age. Unfortunately many sufferers are poorly educated in what to do to aid in recovery and what to avoid that hinders recovery. I have found that concussion symptoms vary, but many symptoms involve headaches and memory loss/changes. These may persist as other symptoms resolve.

There are medicines that may help with headaches. Some medicines may assist memory. Unfortunately, not everyone with concussion symptoms responds to medication. Due to symptom continuation, some transition to post concussion syndrome. Hope is not lost. There are articles that OMT can lesson some symptoms of concussion (mild TBI). If there are questions regarding mild TBI, I would be willing to discuss my experience with treating concussion.

Muscle aches are common with mild TBI (concussion) and OMT can easily treat both.
